Golden Gate Park, An A to Z Adventure, now a StoryWalk on JFK Promenade
Right now, installed along one mile of JFK Promenade in Golden Gate Park, is my book!
Golden Gate Park, An A to Z Adventure was installed in late 2022 as a StoryWalk in a partnership between the San Francisco Public Library, Illuminate the Arts, and the SF Recreation & Parks Department and as part of the Golden Mile.
The StoryWalk allows you to walk along and read the entire book over a ~.5 mile walk. Panels from the book are installed on 14 light posts.
How to experience the StoryWalk for Golden Gate Park, An A to Z Adventure
To read the book in order, go to the intersection of Conservatory Drive East and JFK Promenade to find the letter A nearby (walk toward McLaren Lodge on the northern side of JFK Promenade).
You’ll find the letter Z at 8th Avenue and JFK Promenade, just a little past Skatin’ Place.
In 2023, I’ll be leading some talks on the StoryWalk to bring some of my favorites stories from Golden Gate Park, An A to Z Adventure to life for kids and families. Check back here or the Golden Mile.
