Marta Lindsey will join Gus D'Angelo, author of National Parks A to Z, for ‘Books on the Park’ in the Great Meadow of the San Francisco Botanical Garden, which is co-sponsored by Marta’s favorite bookstore, Green Apple Books. Marta will share her book, Golden Gate Park: An A to Z Adventure, and attendees will then be able to do a scavenger hunt inspired by the book.

Jefferson Elementary will celebrate its 23rd annual "Author's Day" on Monday, April 11, 2022 which connects students to Bay Area authors/illustrators and promotes the love of reading.
Marta Lindsey will join ten other authors/illustrators at the school for special talks. In preparation for Author's Day, students read multiple books by the authors and prepare thoughtful discussion questions.
