Whale Talk and Whale Watching at Point Reyes National Seashore

Right now, thousands of eastern Pacific gray whales are traveling past Point Reyes National Seashore on their annual migration between Mexico and Alaska.

Come learn about this amazing animal – considered to have one of the longest migrations on the planet – with the author of Little Gray’s Great MigrationMarta Lindsey.

Marta’s interactive presentation, perfect for kids and adults alike, will include some fascinating science about gray whale as well tips for whale watching. After the presentation, you can head with Marta to Point Reyes Lighthouse to look for whales yourself!

This event is free and will be held at the Bear Valley Visitor Center auditorium. Marta will do whale origami activities and sign books immediately after the event.
