Earth Day Family Storytime and Whale Talk at the San Francisco Public Library (West Portal)

  • West Portal Library 190 Lenox Way San Francisco, CA (map)

Celebrate Earth Day by learning about one of the earth’s most fascinating animals: the Eastern Pacific gray whale.

Marta will read Little Gray’s Great Migration, the story of a baby gray who must follow his mother on an epic 5000-mile migration from Mexico to Alaska.

After the story, Marta will give a fun, interactive presentation for kids and grownups alike to learn about the gray whale. The timing for this talk is ideal as it is right in the midst of whale watching season here along the California coast.
